Pets Memorial - Sybil

Today I'm sharing with you dear, sweet Sybil.
She's the newest addition to my Pets Memorial board.
She was a rescue cat.
Her story is at the end of this post.

Sybil is in a 4x6 size frame that's spray painted in beautiful "Satin Silver Lilac".
All of my pets' frames will have the same name plate made with air drying clay in Prima IOD Mould "Labels 1".
And all of them are heat embossed in Fran-táge EP color Aged Ivory
The letters for her name are Dusty Attic "UPPERCASE ABC's" and inked in gorgeous "Raisin".
Check out ReneaBouquets' stunning printed butterfly!!!

Inspiration from Sybil's beautiful light blue eyes was part of this design especially for her.
Blue Fern Studios "Sweetheart Frame" is heat embossed in Fran-táge color Shabby Blue
I cut the rectangle shaped frame to make two corner pieces with it.
What a beautiful match to Sybil's eyes and the plaid colors in the shirt she was laying on!

I also wanted to coordinate some flowers in a color close to Sybil's nose.
She had a flesh colored nose with a darker spot on it.
So, I chose Petaloo's Antique Mauve Wild Roses.

My Pets Memorial is really based on lilac and purples to match the colors of my furniture,
so each pet frame will have some purple in its decoration.

How about these ultra-CUTE cat paw prints from Dusty Attic?!?!?!
ADORABLE!!!
They measure approximately 1/2" x 1/2".
Cuuuuuuuuuute!!!

ReneaBouquets' Printed Beautiful Board "Junie's Butterflies" are absolutely adorable!
They are so vivid and detailed!
They were just PERFECT for Sybil!

Thanks for looking at dear Sybil's beautiful photo and memorial.
Have a wonderful weekend!

=====================================================================
After losing my dearest Sophie in 2007, I starting casually looking online at PetFinders.com;
there I found Sybil, who was named "Prissy" online.
She was a drop-off to the Beaumont, Texas Animal Shelter.
Her story really GRABBED MY HEART.
Her age was estimated to be 7 years old.
She was very depressed and would only face the wall in her cage.
Beaumont, Texas is 60 miles from Lake Charles, La. where I live.
I adopted her!!

My husband, Joe, and I enjoyed her for a short 1-1/2 years before heart failure took her life on June 7, 2009.
She was especially close to Joe.
Her little internal clock let her know when time was close for Joe to be getting home from work.
The two of us would wait by the window (I was recuperating from surgery at the time).
When Joe drove up the driveway, Sybil would RUN to the door and just sit and wait.
As SOON as he walked in, she would lay down and just sprawl out in front of him.

I chose to name her Sybil because of her 'many' personalities.
She did 'odd' things, like had a fetish for biting human skin (LOL)!
She would sit on the floor next to Joe's bare leg and would literally in slow motion open her mouth real wide, exposing those long fangs she had.  Then she'd slowly lean in for the bite.  LOLOL!
At night, if any part of my skin wasn't underneath the covers,
Sybil, who slept with me, would always take a little 'pinch' bite of me!

We certainly loved her and although our time with her was way too short,
she was given a year and a half of pure love....to her it was a LIFETIME!
I Love you Sybil 💖
