Vicki's 2023 Birthday Card

Since I won't be seeing my sister for awhile,
I made a slimline card & envelope
to go with an early birthday gift that I sent her.

Another beautiful collection from 49 and Market,
Vintage Artistry Naturalist, for the card & envelope, was perfect as a 'background'
for the laser cuts and rub ons from the Curators Meadow collection!
The Curators Meadow is full of nature, which Vicki dearly loves.

Starting with the front of the card,
laser cut foliage & a rabbit were dressed up with a patch of reindeer moss.

The inside of the card has lots of laser cuts, rub ons and washi tape stamps.

Vicki LOVES red foxes, so this rub on is perfect!
I layered a laser cut stump full of mushrooms on top of laser cut foliage,
which is on top of a berry branch rub on.

Adding the mouse made it even more cute!

Thanks for visiting and looking at Vicki's slimline card & envelope.
Have a great day,
Lisa

Paulette's 2023 Birthday Card

This is the last February birthday card I needed to make.
My good friend, Paulette, is married to my Godfather.
She's so sweet and
I'm so happy that we are friends.

My slimline card measures 3-3/4" x 8-1/2" and the envelope is 4" x 9".

This is the newest paper collection from 49 and Market
and I LOVE it!
It's a very feminine, dainty collection, full of flowers and butterflies.
Lots of pinks and blues.

Once again, the paper collection dictates how much embellishing should be done.
I chose to use 49 and Market's White Daisies and a laser cut butterfly
for the front of the card, allowing them to become part of the printed scene.

For the inside of the card,
I used a page from the 6x8 paper collection
to print the sentiment on & added a laser cut blue butterfly.

The opposite side is decorated using washi tape
and a floral laser cut, along with a pink butterfly.
I just love the pink & white gingham look!

Here are a few more close up photos.

Thanks for stopping by to see Paulette's card!
Have a great day!
Lisa

Michelle's 2023 Birthday Card

My terrific friend, Michelle, recently celebrated her February birthday!
I chose to make her slimline card and envelope with
one of the newer 49 and Market collections, Curators Botanical.
Such beautiful colors!
Decorating the envelope with rub-ons really made it pretty!

The card is 3-3/4" x 8-1/2".
The envelope is 4" x 9".
The page I chose has beautiful prints on it,
so I decorated it very simply.

The colors of these little flowers are perfect for this card!

In this paper collection are laser cut elements.
Looking at this row of tickets gave me an idea!
On white vellum paper, I printed the words that came
to my mind when thinking of my friendship with Michelle.

This collection has the prettiest laser cut elements and rub-ons.
So, I decorated the inside of the card with them.

I incorporated a cute rub-on butterfly with the laser cut flowers.

Wishing Bubbles really add visual interest!

I just LOVE the laser cut fencing with all the beautiful flowers, foliage & butterflies!

I had so much fun making this card for my dear friend.
Now I have one more birthday card to make this month!
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
Lisa
