The animals/insects are arranged in alphabetical order, except I'm starting by honoring
HARAMBE
a 17-year old Western Lowland Gorilla
who was shot & killed on May 28, 2016 while in his enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo.
A determined 3-year old climbed into the enclosure
and zoo keepers feared for the boy's life, so Harambe was shot.
Such a senseless death -
all because a mother wasn't attentively watching her son.
