2018 Christmas Cards

It's been a very busy year with fluctuating feelings and way too many somber times.

However, I still wanted to create something for the special people in my life.
I made simple cards that required minimal creation time,
but still be able to send Christmas greetings.

I found a beautiful Nativity scene on Pinterest.

The cards & envelopes are 4.25" x 5.5".

Creative Embellishments Small Intricate chipboard Frame

is heat embossed in pure white and then with random areas of gold.

Khi's Birthday Card

Khi turned 10 years old!

She is the Granddaughter to Joe's #1 Caregiver, Michelle.

Joe just LOVES Khi and Khi loves Joe.

We attended her birthday party today.

Kaisercraft's Enchanted Garden collection was used to create the card & envelope.

Renea Harrison's (Reneabouquets) Beautiful Board is truly just that - beautiful!

I'm so amazed how VIVID the print quality is!

I added Frosted Lace Stickles for extra bling to the wings!

Look at this gorgeous 'bonus' butterfly Renea sent with my order!

I added Want2Scrap Mother of Pearl colored stick-on pearls in random spots on the card.

I decorated the inside of the card with "Collectables" from the same paper collection.

These are cardstock fussy-cut pieces.

Here is a sweet fairy that I decorated her wings with Cotton Candy Stickles.

Little girls love magical things!

And here is the custom-made envelope for Khi's card.

I thank God for the people in Joe's life.

They make him happy.

They have accepted him into their family.

Together is the Best Place to be

On Friday's gloomy, raining day,
I relaxed & really enjoyed creating a page of Joe and me.

Joe was heavy on my mind.
This was the cure......

This layout now hangs in Joe's apartment livingroom
in his wonderful home at Villa Maria Assisted Living!
He LOVED it and wanted to keep it!!

I just absolutely LOVE Blue Fern Studios Happy Accident 2 collection!
The page named Grubby really caught my eye.

BFS's chipboard "Together is the Best Place to be" is the perfect title!

I heat embossed it with Stampendous! EP color BLACK.
WOW!!! It really stands out!!

I used The Dusty Attic's gorgeous chipboard Heart Swirly to place above the photos.

I heat embossed it with Stampendous! Shabby Blue.

Isn't it lovely?

These photos were taken 1-1/2 years apart.
I die cut pretty Coved Rectangles to place them on.
I first inked the edges in Creamy Brown, followed by Pepper color.

I absolutely LOVE flowers
so I made a large flower arrangement using all Wild Orchid Crafts flowers!
Embedded among them are snippets of baby blue lace, shiny blue foiled dots & black stamen.

The Dusty Attic Ticket is inked in Pink.

I used one piece and divided it to my liking.
