Card during COVID-19 for Diana

As I continue to make cards for my dear friends,
to let them know how much I cherish our friendship,
I've now completed Diana's card!

This is a 6x6 card that I made unembellished a while back.
I thought it was pretty for Diana.

I created the shaker by stacking & adhering together
thin cardboard & brown foam pieces
that are die cut into 3" diameter rings.
I made the shaker mix with hand picked seed beads & sequins.
Look how adorable the clear butterflies are!
They reflect colors from around them.

Hot glue was applied to adhere the teal & white twine around the shaker.

A cute "HELLO!" sticker was made by computer printing the word and die cutting it with an oval die; then adding dimension with foam tape underneath.
I love making my own little sentiments this way!

On the left, inside the card, I placed one of the card cut-outs in this collection.
The other side has enough room for a personal note to Diana.
Diana's note is blurred for privacy.

Thanks for looking at Diana's card.
Stay safe by practicing social distancing!

Time to start on my next friend's card!

Card during COVID-19 for Michelle

I'm very blessed with great friends and want each of them to know it.

Michelle's card has a front pocket to hold tags.

I chose Stamperia's House of Roses collection for her card.
It's a very dainty collection, mostly of pinks & light teals.
Mother of Pearl rhinestones are center placed at the top of the pocket,
where I colored in some pink ink to darken the area.
I pulled out my word stickers and found this one that I liked!

The bottom of the pocket is lined with a cute flower lace ribbon.
I glued a tiny white ceramic flower to every other flower on the lace.

Not much embellishing needed at all because the scene of the bird on the fence with a sweet bird house is all that is needed!

The inside of the card is simply decorated on the left side with a clock from the collection that I was able to use a circle die to cut it evenly off the page.
and
The right side of the card leaves plenty of room for a nice note to Michelle.

The tags are cut outs from the collection.
I decided to spruce them up a bit by layering them first on top of blush pink cardstock, followed by a blue gray cardstock.
It makes for a nice contrast with all of the pastels.
As you can see, each layer has a scalloped punched corner.

I used word stickers and a resin bird nest to decorate the tags.
Here are the tags....one by one.

Thanks for viewing Michelle's card!
Stay safe, happy & healthy,
Lisa > ^..^<

Card during COVID-19 for Rocky

I've decided to create cards for my closest friends
during the COVID-19 pandemic
to let them know how much I care about them & our friendship.

I made Rocky's card with an angled pocket, placed a couple of tags inside and decorated the edges with lavender colored pearls in a specific pattern.
Simple but elegant.

Prima's Lavender collection is really so beautiful!
Let's start with one of the stickers from this collection
that I adhered to chipboard for dimension.

This collection has lots of shimmery gold foil accents, like the word "CHERISHED" and some of the paper borders, which I'll show you in a minute.
The flowers have glittery edges, so they really shine in the light.

I die cut two different sized tags & adorned each with a cut out
from one of the pages in the collection.
There's that shimmery gold foil again!

Backside of the tags.

And of course, I have to have at least one beautiful ReneaBouquets butterfly!
Isn't it luscious?!

Here's a quick glimpse of the inside of the card,
which left plenty of room to write Rocky a nice note.
I've 'smudged' the photo of the note for privacy.
Also notice the gorgeous shimmery gold foil border?

I had to share this with you because I laughed so hard at what I did.....
stamped upside down!!  LOL
Have you ever done that?

So, to hopefully give Rocky a laugh too,
I 'enhanced' my mistake, as you can see!

Thanks for viewing Rocky's card.

Have a great, safe & healthy day!
Lisa
