Lily's Easter Tag

Happy Easter!

I made Lily (my BFF's Granddaughter) a pretty Easter Tag.
I also bought her some girly gifts, but more about those a little later....  💜
Tag Size: 4" x 7"

I used the same beautiful K&Company-Susan Winget floral paper
that I made Miss Belle's Thank You Card with.
I covered the front and back of a piece of chipboard;
then die cut just the top of the tag with Tim Holtz's Vintage Cabinet Card.
The die cut has a round top and 2 squared 'steps'

I don't have an egg shape template and decided not to download one from the internet,
so I used a 2" circle punch instead. It pairs nicely with the rounded top.

I computer-printed a Happy Easter note to Lily, then punched out the paper &
a piece of chipboard, adhering them together to hang on her tag.
I decorated it with tiny pink ric rac & pretty ceramic flowers.

Dainty pink lace in a double row was added on the bottom of the tag.

For Easter decorations on the tag,
I fussy cut a cute rabbit and basket from beautiful Blue Fern Studios Spring Parade paper.

Wild Orchid Crafts flowers added dimension and color too.

Reneabouquet's beautiful butterfly looks perfect on the basket handle!

This is the back of the tag with an extra paper layer from BFS Spring Parade collection.
It's a collage of Easter characters and scenes.  Ultra cute!

Here are close ups of the different cute scenes on this paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I couldn't resist snapping a photo of Lily's tag in some clover.

So, about Lily's Easter gifts....
If you know a 10 year old little girl, she's bound to love slime!
Lily makes her own slime and decorates it with glitter. HA HA
Well, Jello brand has just come out with EDIBLE SLIME!
Oh yes they did!
So, I got Lily the "Unicorn Strawberry" flavor!
Come to find out, the Easter Bunny left some for her this morning!! WOW!
She was exceptionally excited to have an over abundance of this stuff!

I recently bought myself some "Bobs" sandals by Skechers,
which a donation to help save dogs and cats will be given for my purchase! YAY!
There were cute puffy stickers in the box, so since Lily is a lover of animals,
especially dogs, well they really needed to be in the right hands.

I also found a cute Unicorn insulated cup set too!
BTW, the Easter Bunny left her a cup set with a Llama on it! WOW!
Lily loves unicorns, by the way. 🦄

Have a wonderful day!
Lisa : )

Thank You Card to Miss Belle

I sure love Miss Belle.
She's the 82 year old sweet lady that I just flew to Florida to visit.
Me & my very BFF, Carmel, left Louisiana and took a well deserved vacation together for the first time in
44 years of best friendship to see this wonderful lady.
She was friends with my parents and I grew up loving her deeply.

So, after a wonderful visit with her, I decided to create a special thank you card for her.
She loves pretty things, so I tried to make this dainty and pretty.

I gained inspiration from Laura Lindhorst to use this older K&Company collection
featuring the art of wonderful Susan Winget.
It's so pretty and I know Miss Belle will love it!

I started with plain chipboard that I cut and scored to design my card.
I covered the outside of this card with beautiful floral print;
gluing on lace to the curved edge and overlaying the paper on top.

To the spine, I painted a gorgeous acrylic Lavender color.
I then glued dainty beaded lace.

All edges were inked with Purple Sharpie Highlighter.
I placed a really pretty lavender resin rose flower on the front of the card.

Pretty floral stickers from this collection really added some beauty.

The inside of the card was also lined with a paper in the same collection to coordinate.
Then Stickers in this collection were added for a fun and sentimental way of expressing my love for Miss Belle.

I made a pocket and a ticket-tag to go inside.

One side I wrote a personal note to Miss Belle.

The other side I placed meaningful stickers

I used 49 and Market flowers

and a beautiful dragonfly from Reneabouquets

And on the backside of the card, I wrote Miss Belle a special note.

Thanks for your visit and I wish you a very Happy Easter.
