K&Company - Flora & Fauna - Skinny Card & Tag

Couldn't help myself, naming the 3-1/2" x 7-1/4" card a "skinny card".  

So, let's start with the card.

I had a leftover piece from the collection, as I made so many cards with this paper.

I scored it down the middle and thought how it would make a nice card!

I adhered two of the pretty dimensional die cut butterflies to the front.

Inside the card, I cut and placed a piece from the Ledger paper pad.

This allows for writing a note.

The final creation in this collection line is a tag!

Measurements are about 4" x 7".

I had a leftover piece with the cherries on it and wanted to make something of it.

I dressed up the tag with pretty ribbons from Michael's tied into a bow through the punched tag hole.

I stenciled in Gold Crackle the Tim Holtz layering stencil "Flourish".

To the wooden pieces (word "SMILE" and the Kora Projects "Spring Border")

I sprayed them with Lindy's Gang Starburst Golden Sleigh Bells.

This is a true Christmas Gold color!  

Beautiful!

As you can see, the bottom of the tag is lined with a dainty cotton lace ribbon.

The back of the tag is another scrap piece I had leftover from the collection.

Finishing up using my K&Company beautiful collection!

I made THREE cards all sized 5" x 5-3/4".

Starting with my favorite, it's all about birds!

I fussy cut the bird on the flowering branch that I placed on the right side of the card.

The die cut featuring an egg and the word "Wonder" is popped up with a piece of cardboard.

The eggs are part of the dimensional die cuts in the collection that I layered together.

Next is a striped card.  

I'm not overly fond of stripes, but doesn't the dimensional fern die cut look perfect on the front of this card?

Lastly, is a swan card.

There was a Swan Typewriter Key sticker!

Lovely!

I decided to coordinate the colors on the front with the inside of the card, 

hence, the raisin purple color paper!

K&Company - Flora & Fauna 6" x 6" Cards

I've finally completed using up the paper in the beautiful 
older Flora & Fauna collection by K&Company.

This post covers the two 6" x 6" cards that I made.

First is a Friendship card that announces this by the dimensional sticker from the collection.

The pretty Geranium flowers are from Micheal's.

The leaves are die cut with Cheery Lynn's Rose Leaf Strip.

The inside is left plain with plenty of room to write.

Next is a pretty blue card featuring a die cut of a framed butterfly from the collection.

I popped it up with a piece of cardboard.

Inside the paper is striped, so I added a coordinating piece from the collection.

K&Company - Flora & Fauna 4" x 6" Cards

After setting a goal for myself to use up older paper stash,

I have finally completed making cards in the beautiful

 K&Company Flora & Fauna collection.

As previously mentioned in other posts, there is always room for additional embellishing.

However, the cards I've made are 'good to go' as they are.

In this post, I will show you each card and its inside.

I think they are all unique. 

I made a total of FIVE in this size.

Starting with my favorite one which has the dimensional die cut birds to adorn the front.

Have you ever really loved certain sides of papers and wanted to have them 'perfect' for your card 
so that when you open it, the right paper is there?

I decided to adhere two papers together to get exactly what I wanted.

This is the first time I've ever done this.  

This bi-fold card didn't want to stay closed, perhaps because of gluing together two papers????

So I used a cool bronze colored mini binder clip.

When you first open it, you see two die cuts that I adhered together. 

One resembles a pocket and the other a ticket.

Birds = Eggs, right?

The inside of the card features beautiful paper in this collection.

This allows for lots of writing space!

Next is card #2 - 

I lightly sprayed a big Recollections flower with 
Lindy's Gang Starburst Edelweiss Moss Green to adorn this bi-fold card.

Such a perfect color match!

I left the inside completely blank, but can always embellish further if needed.

Don't you just love the quote "Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature"?

Now Card #3 -

I LOVE purples of any shade!

This gorgeous 'eggplant' colored paper has a dimensional die cut of flowers.

Simple, but pretty.

Inside this single fold card I added vellum showing the whole flowering plant on the left side.

The right side is a die cut card to write a note on.

Card #4 - 

This next card features a vellum piece in the collection of an Iris plant.
Beautiful!

It opens vertically and inside I have adhered a piece from the Ledger paper pad.

CARD #5 -

Lastly, this one has a die cut of beautiful purple toned flowers.

I added Flower Soft to the flower center for added interest.

Inside, the paper was too dark to write a note on,

so I placed two die cuts in Cheery Lynn's Dutch Daisy on each side.
