I created a vintage tag for a swap I joined on scrapbook.com.
It's total size is 4-3/8" wide x 6-3/4" long.

This is the first time I've ever created one so I started with the idea of two tiers.
I settled on using chipboard covered with pretty paper.
The base is edged with clear crackle over Distress Ink color Tattered Rose and then sprayed with
Lindy's Stamp Gang Moonshadow Mist color Buccaneer Bronze.
The backside is covered in Blue Fern Studios paper where I signed & dated it for my swap partner.
The top piece is also covered in BFS paper which set the vibe & inspiration for the decorations I used.

After the two pieces were adhered together with foam tape, it was time to decorate!
But I faced a dilemma------my Crop-a-dile hole puncher wouldn't open up wide enough because of the thickness! YIKES! But luckily the 'little light in my head clicked on' and I used a drill bit to do the job!! LOL! It worked BEAUTIFULLY! I was then able to run my ribbons through and tie them off in a simple bow.
Decorating began with a Tim Holtz Metal Ornate Plate.
I printed a photo of my 'obsession' - the early 1900's Super Model, Evelyn Nesbit.
I have created many layouts of her:
(Evelyn, Timeless Beauty, Imagine, Sweet Tuxedo, The Classy Evelyn Nesbit, 1925 Fashionista, Gypsy Soul).
The photo was cut to fit snugly inside the ornate plate; pretty feathers placed under it;
and then the plate was glued down, offsetting it on the tag.

I stenciled a few small designs on the bottom of the tag with Copper Crackle.
For an antiqued look, I rubbed the crackle with my fingertip along the edges of the tag
Finally, some flower arrangements with snippets of ivory colored lace and leaf die cuts completed the tag.
As I do with my scrapbook layouts, I incorporated the print in the paper as part of the design.
