This month, I participated in a Swap that required decorating 3 glassine bags.
Glassine bags come in all sorts of colors,
but the kraft color of this bag really helps it look vintage!
Mintay paper collection "Dear Diary" has a page that reminds me of rust spots,
so it was perfect for the background!
I started by punching a 5" x 6-3/4" background piece.
I adhered it to a piece of chipboard so it could be slightly raised from the bag.
Just another try at something dimensional.
Each piece is adhered by a Scor-Tape sheet.
Scor-Tape gives a very smooth and strong adhesive finish.

1900's photos of Evelyn Nesbit, a Super Model of that day, really stand out.

I converted the B&W photos to Sepia Color to match the 'rusty' color scheme.
The frames are inked in TH Distress Ink color Vintage Photo.

Random placement of pale pink pearls started the feminine feel.
Snippets of ivory lace tucked into the arrangement add more femininity.
Tim Holtz's "Word Key" was the perfect size, shape & color!
The same paper used for the background was added to the bag flap,
but it just looked too plain.
Covering it in the same lace used in the flower arrangement really dressed it up!
A tiny bronze colored binder clip holds the flap closed.
Glassine bags are pretty 'flat', so adding goodies, whether it be cookies or crafting gifts, forces minimization.
Your goodies should also be as flat as possible for a good fit.
This is what's in this bag.
These are gifts for my wonderful swap partner, Donna.
She beautifully creates with a vintage/shabby chic style.
