Pawel Kowalski Mandala 8-11-26

 I'm quite impressed with this new coloring book!

Pawel Kowalski is a Polish artist with very unique illustrations.

My favorite colors are purples and blues,

so these are the main colors I used.

Since my crafting began as a scrapbook artist, it's sometimes

 fun to incorporate some of those elements on a colored page.

I used dark navy blue flat back rhinestones to decorate the flower petals.

There were circles already drawn there, 

but the rhinestones just gave this page something extra special!

I really LOVE how this flower turned out!

Carmel's 2026 Birthday Card

 This lovely 5" x 7" card is for my very best friend in the world.

This year we celebrate 51 years of best friendship!!

I'm beyond blessed to have her in my life. 

She means the absolute world to me.

Carmel's favorite color is red.

I coordinated various papers from my stash 

to design the front with layered strips that are either 

straight cut, edge punched or edge cut with deco scissors.

Here are close up photos of the strips.

As you can see, I chose enamel dots in a beautiful 

green that closely matches the green strip on the card.

The oval die cut is adhered flat to the card

and has a printed note especially for Carmel.

I came across a beautiful saying that was perfectly stated 

to explain how meaningful best friendship with her is to me.

A stunning butterfly by ReneaBouquets is adhered with foam adhesive circles 

for dimension and really makes a gorgeous centerpiece for the card!

This is another top fave butterfly for me!

I just love the rose colors in it!

Lily's 2025 Birthday Card

 Lily is the Granddaughter of my BFF.

In a way, I'm her Grandmother too.

We will be celebrating her birthday tomorrow during Sunday lunch.

Lily's turning 17 on the 23rd. 

She's such a respectful and sweet girl.

I adore & love her.

I made her a CAS (clean & simple) card.

Lily's favorite color is pink.

I've always loved navy blue (indigo) with pink, so that's the colors I used.
