Well Wishes for Patty

 My sweet friend, Patty, is recovering from surgery,

so I made her a card to wish her well during this time.

Patty loves bees, 

so how perfect was this collection & edger die?!

I 'spruced' up the edger die by cutting out parts of the bee in jet black cardstock;

then adhering them so the bee would be black & golden.

I also cut some vellum wings for added interest

and topped them with stickles so they would sparkle.

The Paper Rose collection "Bees & Butterflies"

has a page with beautiful yellow-gold flowers.

This made a perfect background for the edger die to be on top of.

These pieces were then adhered to the 

beautiful green paper of the main card.

A few glitter enamel dots dressed up the card as well.

Also in this collection are embossed die cuts.

I've used some bumble bees.

Unfortunately, the photos don't show the glossy embossed areas,

but Patty will see them!

The inside of the card has more embossed die cuts

and a simple sentiment of recovery wishes that I die cut.

Lily's 2025 Birthday Card

 Lily is the Granddaughter of my BFF.

In a way, I'm her Grandmother too.

We will be celebrating her birthday tomorrow during Sunday lunch.

Lily's turning 17 on the 23rd. 

She's such a respectful and sweet girl.

I adore & love her.

I made her a CAS (clean & simple) card.

Lily's favorite color is pink.

I've always loved navy blue (indigo) with pink, so that's the colors I used.

Get Well Card for Lorna

 My good friend, Lorna, has been trying to overcome an illness 

for quite awhile, so I decided

to make her a quick CAS (clean & simple) get well card.

I was finally able to use my lovely edger die for the very first time!

It's perfect because Lorna LOVES hummingbirds!

I used solid colored cardstock;

then added elements from 49 and Market's 

Spectrum Gardenia collection.

This is the card fully opened.
