2025 Christmas Cards

These were going to be my 2024 Christmas cards,
however, l completely changed course last year
and made some other cards instead.
So, these are now my 2025 Christmas Cards!
I've had the 3-D embossing folder of Poinsettias for years,
so it was time to put it to use!

I chose gorgeous maroon & gold for my 5" x 7" cards.

I started by cutting the main card to size; then printing the inside sentiment,

as well as the 'created by' on the backside.
Unfortunately, when I printed all of the cards,
the date was 2024 on the back.
So, I had to write a 5 over the 4 - HA!
The font is Papyrus, which I've grown to love.

The gorgeous, high-quality gold glitter paper
is cut to 4-1/2" x 6-1/2", which leaves a 1/4" all around.

On top of the glitter paper is the embossed piece,
which measures 4" x 6",
again leaving a 1/4" all around the sides.
This piece is raised with foam tape for dimension.
I love layered looks!

I applied beautiful gold wax to the poinsettia petals and leaves.
This accent really makes them stand out!
The stamen have gold glitter glue applied.

I found the most perfect dies for my cards.
The word "Peace" with a shadow background
enhanced the front of the card beautifully!

As with all of my handmade Christmas cards,
I always enclose a creation explanation for my friends.
Most are not crafters, so it helps them to understand what they are looking at!

Lastly, I have to say that I found a great color match in envelopes
at Hobby Lobby.....AND they were dirt cheap on sale!
Everything for these cards just fell into place!

Thanks for stopping by to view my cards.
May you all have a very Blessed & Merry Christmas!
Love,
Lisa

Patty's 2025 Birthday Card

I made my sweet friend, Patty, a hand drawn birthday card.
Her favorite flower is the stunning Stargazer Lily.
Drawing is very difficult for me and definitely doesn't do justice
to this gorgeous flower, but I think it came out well enough to send to her.

These are the colors I used for Patty's card.

Pretty glitter dots are adhered to opposite corners.

As with all other hand drawn flower cards for my friends,
the name of the flower is adhered using foam tape.

The inside sentiment is Papyrus font
and the corners are punched.

Thanks for viewing sweet Patty's birthday card.
Wishing her a lovely birthday! XOXO

Lily's 2025 Birthday Card

Lily is the Granddaughter of my BFF.
In a way, I'm her Grandmother too.
We will be celebrating her birthday tomorrow during Sunday lunch.
Lily's turning 17 on the 23rd.
She's such a respectful and sweet girl.
I adore & love her.

I made her a CAS (clean & simple) card.
Lily's favorite color is pink.
I've always loved navy blue (indigo) with pink, so that's the colors I used.

Have a blessed week ahead!
Thanks for visiting,
Lisa
