To all you card makers, you know how it is....
you just can't gift someone money without it being in a card, right?
A recent conversation with my priest & friend, Father Paul,
about a restaurant that he really loves, has lead me to gift him the needed funds to buy a 'pass' which will give him a gift certificate as well as other perks.
These 'passes' will be sold in a couple of weeks, so there's still time.
It's quite a bit of money, especially for a low paid priest,
so I'm surprising him next Saturday after Mass
with this simple card containing money so he can get it.
I used scrap paper and stickers (that I rarely use ever) to make it.
I know it's a throw-away card, so why not use some stash that sits in a drawer?
However, the colors I chose are of his favorite soccer team -
The Netherlands, which is his heritage. 😁
I'm giggling at how very silly this is.
He'll be so happy though
and that's the whole point!
Have a blessed week everyone,
Lisa >^..^<
