Mandala Bird of Paradise

I just bought another unique mandala coloring book.
This one combines the mandalas with florals.
I chose to start with the Bird of Paradise.

I chose to use Kalour colored pencils because of the vibrancy
& numerous choices in each color family.
These are not my favorite colors to use because of several reasons,
which are found in these two previous critque posts:

Even with all of my complaints about these colored pencils,
this 8" x  8" coloring may just be a favorite and end up on my
Favorites Coloring Wall in my craft room!
Here are two previous posts regarding this wall.

To get everything as smooth & solidly colored as possible,
I had to go over each color 3 times.
YES!  THREE TIMES.
Very time consuming in my opinion.
But, had I not done this, I don't think this coloring would be as nice.

However, the outcome is really pretty
because I LOVE bright, vibrant colors.

I began coloring the flower.
Every single color used on this page,
with the exception of the light purple used for the background color in the center,
was used on the flower & its leaves & stems.
These were then used throughout the entire page.

These are the Kalour colored pencils that I used:

Here are some more photos:

Once again, I thank you for visiting my blog.
Have a wonderfully blessed day!
