Animals in Flowers - Spirits of the World - Elephant #1

I'm really enjoying coloring animals in my new coloring books.

I loved this elephant.
I applied a yellow soft pastel to the background.

On the opposite page are these words:

Memories mold us,
but the future beckons with hope.

I used Flower Soft for the centers of the purple flowers.

Thanks for coming by!
Have a wonderful day,
Lisa >^..^<

Elizabeth's 2024 Birthday Card

This is the first creation I've made using one of the newest
49 and Market collections this year, Kaleidoscope.
What a cheerful collection it is with it's beautiful bright colors!
I LOVE IT!

At first I struggled figuring out a design and then in a quick snap it fell together.
This is because of the wonderful pieces in this collection!
I'm a real lover of bright, cheerful colors.

Elizabeth's card is made from one of the 6" x 8" papers in the collection.
I really loved this one in particular with its pretty
hummingbirds, plus it gave me a lot of room to create.
Elizabeth loves birds, so this collection was very fitting for her.

I've been making a shaker on all of my 2024 creations to friends
and Elizabeth's card is the first to not have
the words "Happy Birthday" in the center of the shaker.

Instead, the neat quilted spirograph chipboard was perfect for a shaker!
The precious Sprinkletz with all brightly colored flowers
couldn't have been more PERFECT for this card!
I placed a rhinestone sticker in the center to glam it up!

I printed my own words on the multi colored papers
from the collection's 12 x 12 solids;
then circle punched them out to make balloons.

Here are some close ups from the front of the card.

The bows are from the mini laser cut elements,
as well as the words 'time to celebrate'.

The postage stamp washi tape is adorable!

The back of the card is decorated with laser cut elements from this fun collection!
I used the same rhinestone stickers in the corners
that I used in the center of the shaker on the front of the card.

I just love the laser cut hummingbirds!

I also used a precious rub on butterfly.

Lastly, I made a box-in-box envelope to house the large card.

Thanks for coming by & have a blessed day!
Lisa

Animals in Flowers - Spirits of the World - Cow #1

I recently bought a new coloring book that has
animals surrounded by flowers.
It's adorable!
It measures about 8" x 8".

I chose to color this cow first.
There are several cows in the coloring book,
as well as other animals too.
This one 'spoke to me'.

On the opposite page from her are these words:

Let the gaze forward be filled with hope, love, and serenity.

I tried my hand at using a soft pastel around the page.
I chose the color of pink.
I applied it with a makeup sponge.
I'm pleased!

Also, I used one of my stylus pens to apply tiny drops of Liquid Pearls
to the centers of the flowers.
I like what it adds to this coloring!

Thanks so much for visiting
and
have a very BLESSED day!
Lisa
