Madison Taylor Art - 2024-4-30

My favorite color is purple so I chose it for these beautiful flowers.

I'm quickly learning that it's best not to erase on the black background
because it shows up well.  YIKES!
I changed my mind from green to a goldenrod for the leafy plant....
and there are the eraser marks bigger than day!

I'm happy to be coloring again!
Now that I have a cleaning lady coming in every other week,
I have lots more time on my hands to just enjoy life....
and coloring is one of my joys!

Have a blessed day!

Madison Taylor Art - 2024-4-28

I'm really enjoying coloring in this black background coloring book!
This time I chose 3 colors and that's it!

I did not blend at all and really like the look it produced!
It gave 'movement' to the flowers!
I even left some white showing through to give the flowers  more variation.
I chose to use pinky-salmon/peach colors.
I love how this turned out!

I love the inspirational words!

Thanks for stopping by!
I'm already working on another page and hope it comes out good enough to post!
Have a blessed day,
Lisa

Madison Taylor Art - 2024-4-27

I discovered an awesome coloring book!
I've never colored against a black background before.
It really makes the colors VIBRANT!

I chose to color this page first because of the inspirational words.
Each page has inspirational words with it.
"I am filled with joy" really resonated with me!

This was a practice page.
I'm going to try to coordinate the colors better on future colorings.
I was having so much fun trying out different colors to see how they would look - LOL!

I was able to enhance the background to more of a jet black,
rather than a dark charcoal that it actually is,
by using the Auto Smart Tone tool in Photoshop.
I wondered how other colorings I've seen have such dark backgrounds!

I LOVED this coloring book so much
that I've ordered 3 more by Madison Taylor!
They are:

Thanks for visiting!
and
Have a wonderfully happy & blessed day!

Birthday Card for a Sweet 92 year old Lady

I made this quick, but pretty card in a 4-1/2" x 6" size
for a sweet lady turning 92 in a few days.
It's always good to hold on to pieces of 'scrap'
because you never know what could be created with it!

A Happy Birthday sentiment is surrounded with cute tiny flowers.

I say it all the time....
A card or a scrapbook page just isn't complete without
 something beautiful from ReneaBouquets!
I'm partial to her butterflies & dragonflies.
So dainty and beautiful!

Thanks for stopping by
and as I always wish for you...
Have a blessed day!

Floral Ram Skull

This is the first coloring I've done in the beautiful coloring book
Enchanted Earth, illustrated by Melpomeni Chatzipanagiotou.
I LOVE her coloring books.
This one just came out in 2023
and it's my favorite!

I chose to color this floral ram skull because it's so interesting and beautiful.

I almost forgot how very relaxing coloring can be!
This one was fun to color and I think it's jump-started me back into coloring again.
It's been 10 months since my last coloring.
WOW!

Thanks so much for stopping in for a peek!
Have a very blessed day,
Lisa >^..^<
