I called to the Lord

I was given this gorgeous photo
and the profound select words from Psalms 120:1
by a friend who requested a special-made layout.
These two needed to be the full focal points of the layout, so I did minimal embellishing.

I chose a light pink page from Maja Design Denim & Girls collection.
Leafy chipboard corners painted in Lindy's Stamp Gang mica color Tweedle Dee Denim
coordinates well with the blue in the photo;
as does the blue paper & words and Reneabouquet's sweet tiny butterflies!

The heartfelt, personal view that I was told
is that our Lord is represented by the majestic pine.
What a wonderful way to interpret this photo in such a soulful way!

That's the reason I used these die cuts & pine cones;
placing them next to the right words.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Independence Day America!
