My first coloring from the Mythic World coloring book by Kerby Rosanes.
I was so impressed with the beauty of this illustration.
I chose a light aqua with accents in a cherry color.
In Chinese mythology, Chang'e is the goddess of the Moon.
The Moon Rabbit is her companion.
The Moon Rabbit's duty is to pound the elixir of immortality
from herbs collected from Chang'e's Earth husband.
Markings on the Moon are said to resemble the outline of a rabbit.
