The last, but not least, of my beloved pets
is now framed, decorated & making the
Pets Memorial wall hanging look divine!
This is Pepper.
The last little dog I owned.
This photo of Pepper giving me 'love eyes' was taken 1/20/2017.

Pepper's photo is in a 4 x
6 frame that I've spray painted in "Satin Silver Lilac".
Her name plate is made
with air dry clay using Prima's IOD Mould "Labels 1".
It's heat embossed with
Fran-táge color "Aged Ivory".
The Dusty Attic letters
are inked with ColorBox Pigment Ink "Raisin".
Since Pepper's frame is located at the top of the wall hanging,
there was plenty of room to place a taller chipboard on top of the frame.
I chose this majestic ornate piece by The Dusty Attic.
Heat embossing it with Lindy's Gang color "Spring Leaf Chartreuse"
really made a beautiful background for the gorgeous red flowers
from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The Dusty Attic black word tag "Cutie" looked great with Pepper's colors.
The Dusty Attic Dog Paw Prints chipboard adds even more cuteness!
They are simply colored in ColorBox pigment ink "Raisin".
On the opposite side of the frame from the paw prints,
I placed a Recollections chipboard word "Love".

This is the updated Pets
Memorial wall hanging
with Pepper now decorated
& hung in place!
This is Pepper's story:
Pepper was a mix of Jack Russell & Rat (Manchester) Terrier.
Such a smart little dog!
She was a birthday gift to my Dad when he was 78;
given to him by his only Granddaughter, my daughter.
It was summertime and very hot,
so the breeder had the puppies in a box with baby bottles
filled with frozen water to keep them cool.
filled with frozen water to keep them cool.
Dad chose Pepper because she was the only puppy smart enough
to sprawl across the bottle to get cool relief - LOLOL!
to sprawl across the bottle to get cool relief - LOLOL!
Dad named her and ironically she ended up with tiny black specks of hair on her back that looked like black pepper was sprinkled all over her. HA!
My parents had Pepper for 7 years when my father passed away and my mother was mostly wheelchair bound & unable to care for Pepper.
So, Joe & I took her into our home and gave her a wonderful life filled with love.
She had many nicknames, of course,
including P-Baby; Peppers-roni; Pep Pep; P; and Old Haggity.
💖
Pepper lived with us for almost 6 years.
I had to put her to sleep during an intense episode
with her life long condition of HGE.
I didn't want her to suffer.
She was just 6 days shy of her 13th birthday.
Thanks for coming by and have a great week!
Lisa
