Regal Beauty

I made a layout of my gorgeous Miss Gali with the stunning Blue Fern Studios Mémoires paper collection.
I chose this particular page because of it's regal feel & design.
I'm always so thrilled whenever I'm able to get a good photo of the ever-gorgeous Miss Gali!
She had just finished a good lick on her mane. As you can see some of the hair is still straight up (hee hee).
Because of her shy nature, it's hard to get her to open her eyes all the way....
I like to think it's because she's giving me 'love eyes'.  >^--^<
I really lucked out on this one!
Beautiful print on gorgeous paper deserves to be part of the design so I kept embellishments to a minimum.
The stunning centerpiece chipboard by BFS was perfect to showcase my raving beauty.
The center of it reminds me of a crown, so after a light gesso-prep it was heat embossed with Tim Holtz Distress embossing powder color Vintage Photo, then gold glitter glue was applied to just the center loops; then gold nailheads adhered to the partial circle above & below the photo.
Ah yes - regal indeed!

Aren't the chipboard letters just fabulous that I used to spell 'REGAL' ?!
These are from Want2Scrap and are sold on alpha chipboard sheets.
I gesso-prepped them and then heat embossed with Lindy's Stamp Gang color Hollyberry Red Gold;
followed by sprinkles of BFS Imagine Ink color Antique Gold
Teal roses added contrast and beauty.

To the left of the photo is Prima's Cloisonné Bronze flower
accented with beautiful metallic gold die cut flourishes.
For balance, the title word "beauty" was placed on the right side of the photo.
These Dusty Attic script letters make such wonderful titles!
They were gesso-prepped and then double heat embossed with BFS's gorgeous Antique Gold,
followed by a heavy application of Crackle Accents.
In the flower arrangements are pretty gold berry bead clusters from Wild Orchid Crafts.
They are actually antique gold color, but I sprayed them with Krylon Metallic Gold
Now they really shine!
The entire layout is framed with gold beaded trim along the edge.....fit for a Queen!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!  Lisa : )

  1. SO beautiful, Lisa!! I am in LOVE with the treatment of the "Beauty" letters--I just got Antique Gold embossing powder, I am going to have to get some crackle stuff, I just love how it turned out! Such a great pic of Miss Gorgeous herself! I love those Prima Cloisonne's and they are perfect for the queen herself -- love all the gold accents!! Indeed fit for her royal highness!
