look at that!

I just had to scrap this adorable 8/19/16 photo of round wide-eyed Lucy!
She is always so charismatic with her expressions!
One of the tell-tale traits of the Birman cat breed is round eyes and Lucy definitely has them!
Lucy's beautiful blue eyes and the fact that they are completely round; plus the beautiful cream, chocolate and buff colors of Lucy's hair were the total inspiration for the color palette and the circular theme of this layout!

I chose the perfect brown/cream toned paper in the Blue Fern Studios Serendipity collection.
A dreamy circular design was stenciled with white crackle texture paste.

The Dusty Attic Leafy Scroll with its circular shape was absolutely prefect!
I coated them in a mixture of Vanilla & Fawn colored acrylic paints.
Then for more pop and interest, I stamped them with a textured design using ColorBox Fluid Chalk ink color Chestnut Roan.
I really loved how they turned out, but they seemed to fade into the background.....so, I circle-cut some corrugated paper to place behind them!
Using Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst color Dark Chocolate Truffle that has a gold shimmer to it, each corrugated circle was sprayed and then once dry, the upper ridges were accentuated by inking with ColorBox Fluid Chalk color Dark Brown.

Here is a close up to show you the stamped chipboard and inked corrugated paper.

I'm sure that many of you are like me and buy pretty things on sale in your local arts and crafts store.  I am so happy with one of these such buys - Michael's Recollections Bohemien doilies!!  They are absolutely adorable and once I inked them with ColorBox Fluid Chalk Chestnut Roan and sprayed them with LSG Starburst Dark Chocolate Truffle, they really popped on the page!  I adhered them to my layout using watered down Gel Medium.  You can see the pretty gold shimmer under the light!

The title chipboard is inked with two colors -
Colonial Blue on top (a gray-blue) and Night Sky on the bottom (a deep blue).

Just a few flower arrangements to bring out Lucy's blue eyes......

The word 'Fascination' that I placed with one of the floral arrangements was cut from the bottom strip of the main layout paper where the page name is!
Soooooo fitting since Lucy is always fascinated with the littlest things!

Thanks for dropping by!  Have a great upcoming USA Labor Day holiday!  Lisa : )

Love it, Lisa! You always have the most wonderful little detail clusters. Love the Dusty Attic swirl! Your fur babies are so beautiful, I would be scrapping them all the time, too! Especially since you get to use all those gorgeous blues to match those stunning eyes. I'm working on a tribute to my Woolly right now! He deserves some scrapping love and can't wait to share it. Have a wonderful holiday weekend! Hugs oo Carrie
