The mauves, brown tones and subtle teal colors in this gorgeous Prima Timeless Memories paper seemed perfect for this photo. Greta's 'baby tummy' looks a bit mauve colored (ha!).
I punched some teal colored paper from the Prima collection to create a frame for the photo and to decorate the top corner of the layout. I'm very happy with the way it looks!
The rest was simply arranging flowers with die cuts and cheesecloth.
This first close up of the large, cloth flower by Prima shows the mauve bead I glued in the center for a little extra elegance:
The flower arrangement by the photo consists of various flowers that are listed below.
I really love the Cheery Lynn Designs die cut Fanciful Flourish. It even has leaf veins in it. I used foam pieces to pop up some of the leaves for dimension. The rose was very lightly sprayed with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst color Bodacious Blush, which by the way is one of my most favorite colors! It's an antique rose color. The more you spray, the more the brown in it will show.
Thanks for looking! Have a great day, Lisa : )

ReplyDeleteLisa - what a wonderful page - it's so beautiful and elegant. And, I love, love your wonderful design and such a sweet photo. We had a German Shepherd when I was in my teens. the vet told us that we actually had to fry hamburger for her because it would help her one floppy ear stand up - and it worked. One day - both of her ears were standing straight up. Her name was Schatzi - she would always bury her toys in the yard (but only after she would tear the squeakers out of them). My Dad would stop and always buy new toys every couple of days!!
