Card during COVID-19 for Kay

My dear friend, Kay, and I have been friends since 1992.

I worked in Purchasing and she in Accounting. 

Before we know it, we will reach 30 years of friendship!

I just adore her.  

She's a wonderful person and has always been such a great friend. 

I chose a 6x6 card that I started awhile back and put away.

I finished decorating it especially for Kay.

The card was created using DCWV's beautiful collection Coral Couture.

The pretty lace flowers were a gift from my friend Mary quite a long time ago and I'm really happy that I finally had the right place for them!

I computer printed the sentiment and then die cut it.
Adhesive foam tape underneath it gives dimension.

I decorated the inside of the card with other patterned papers in this collection,
Die cutting for the left side and squaring off on the right side.

This saying is a perfect fit for me and Kay!

And finally, I just have to show you the back of the card fully opened. 

These papers are really so pretty!

Card during COVID-19 For Carmel

This 5x7 card is for my very best friend, Carmel. 

45 years of best friendship....and counting.

Without her, I wouldn't be whole.

The beautiful 49 and Market Bold & Beautiful collection was my choice, 
in particular this page, because of the pretty flowers. 
I layered punched hydrangea, adding black rhinestone centers to the larger ones.
I really love the dimensional look by placing adhesive foam under some of them.

49 and Market Mint colored flowers were the perfect green!
And their adorable Taffy colored Wishing Bubbles make it 'magical'.

I'm all about butterflies, dragonflies & moths....
Well, ReneaBouquets "Sunset" moths are stunning!!!
They have made this card beyond just 'pretty'.
The details are truly breath taking!

Take a look at how beautiful this paper is!
It's a blooming garden!
This is the card fully opened up, showing you the front and back.

The inside is gorgeous as well. 
The photo doesn't do justice to how beautiful the muted gray-blues are.
Perfect for writing a personal note!

Card during COVID-19 for Lorna

Here's a 5x7 card that I made for my friend Lorna.

We used to create layouts together years ago.

At the time, we never made shakers,
so that's why I decided to make her a shaker card.
It hasn't been all that long ago that shakers really piqued my interest. 

Making cards is what did it!

I started with 49 and Market's Bold & Beautiful papers, 

as well as the Laser Cut Shapes in the collection.

After cutting & scoring the card,

I designed a focal point with some of the laser cut shapes - 
stamps, a ticket and a flower.

I love making shakers by layering three of 

Creative Embellishments Small Intricate Frames.  

They are just perfect for this purpose!

The top frame is heat embossed in Blue Fern Studio's "Forest".

I toned it down by lightly applying bronze wax.

The shaker mix is "Coral Coast". 

ReneaBouquet's gorgeously detailed "Rose Quartz" Butterflies 

in the Tiny Treasures line look so pretty on this card!
In my opinion, the Tiny Treasures are the perfect size for cards, 
measuring 1-1/2" x 1-1/2". 

These beauties have a rosy tint to them. 

Just beautiful!
