Jessica's Thank You Card

 In December 2024,

my sweet friend, Jessica, gifted me a gorgeous

grouping of watercolored flowers in my favorite color of purple!

Her talent is truly remarkable.

This thank you card was sent, along with a gift that I made her

and just now completed in February 2026.

I wanted to use a beautiful die that I have and hardly ever get to use it.

I found the right paper that would go well with the die!

ReneaBouquets beautiful butterflies added the needed "extra"!

They always do!!

For the inside of the card, 

I used laser cut elements & rub-ons from the same paper collection

to make pretty flower arrangements with bees & a butterfly.

It's always fun to place a rub-on on top of a laser cut element,

as I've done with the bee on top of the flower.

All of the bees are rub-ons. 

The blue butterfly & the flowers are laser cuts.

A 5x5 CAS Thank You Card for Kevin

 Well, Kevin did it again!

He out did himself, like he did at Christmas.

He gave me several birthday gifts recently.

He seemed proud and happy to do that, 

so he rightfully deserves a Thank You card.

The 5" x 5" size of this card was determined by the small scrap piece 

of moth printed canvas that I've had for years.

This canvas material is glued onto orange cardstock. 

Opposite corners are adorned with black rhinestones

& the other ones with black heat embossed metal filigree corner pieces.

A few tiny black rhinestones are placed randomly on the canvas piece.

Adhesive foam underneath lifts everything up for a little dimension.

I chose a beautiful dark teal cardstock for the main card.

Kevin's Slimline CAS Thank You Card

 Kevin is my BFF's brother, who is disabled due to brain injury.

I'm divulging this because of how truly thoughtful he is.

This past Christmas, Kevin had gifts for everyone!

He gave me money as a thank you 

for bringing food to him from our Sunday lunches.  

You see, Kevin lives on my side of town and it's just easier for me 

to make those delivers since it's on my way home. 

Kevin's genuine appreciation is very humbling!

I decided to thank Kevin for his thoughtfulness 

and let him know that it helped brighten my Christmas.

I made him a slimline CAS (clean & simple) card in masculine Fall colors.

The inside of the card has a special note for Kevin

with a rub-on on the opposite side.

Kevin always signs off on texts to me as 

"You're crazy Cajun friend".

So......

on the back of the card - 

He also gave everyone a little Jesus, 

that I'm sure many of you have seen on the internet. 

Here is a photo of my little Jesus, 

along with my troll & Canadian inukshuk - all three were gifted to me.

They are admired every time I use the computer.
