Diana's 2026 Birthday Card

A new year has begun to create birthday cards for my special friends, 

with Diana always being the first one for her Feb 3rd birth date.

Her's sets the design idea for all the others that follow. 

For this year's birthday cards, I decided to use mostly the papers 

and scraps that I already have without buying many new ones.

I'm very happy to be able to use my stash!

I'm also quite pleased with how the cards are turning out. 

I was able to complete 8 cards before January was even over!

Diana's birthday card is a size 5" x 7".

I've layered various strips of paper to cover the entire front of the card,

 using her favorite color of purple,

with most of them being edge punched.

I chose to use the Maja Design "Enjoying Outdoors" collection

because of all of its gorgeous shades of purple. 

Ironically, Diana REALLY DOES enjoy being outdoors.

Luckily I still have some full pages in this collection and lots of scrap pieces too!

Here are a couple of close ups of the strips,

from top to bottom on the card.

As you can see, I've decorated the bottom strip with enamel dots in an olive green.

I printed a special sentiment, especially for Diana, in an oval shape, 

which is then die cut and adhered flat to the card.

ReneaBouquets products really "amp up" your creations.

This gorgeous butterfly is one of my very most favorites!

Placed in the center of the oval, 

it's raised up by foam adhesive circles for dimension.

Lastly, inside the card on the left side, are laser cut flowers & a rub-on butterfly.
