I'm Back!!
Due to two hurricanes; two evacuations; and two recoveries,
I haven't created a layout in 8 months!
During this time, I really lost my 'mojo',
but when I'm able to capture a good photo of Miss Gali,
I always feel it deserves to be on a pretty scrapbook page!
I already had my paper picked out and had printed the two photos,
but I just didn't even know where to begin to get started;
until I saw the 49 and Market March Sketch Challenge!
This was the 'bump-start' I needed!!
I'm very pleased to share Miss Gali Gorgeous with you today.
I took a photo of her on Feb 3, 2021.
She's very camera shy, but aren't her eyes just so beautiful?
When 49 and Market's Vintage Artistry "Wedgewood" came out,
I bought just about everything in the collection!
So, I've used something from everything that I bought....
First let me say how much I just LOVE their Rub-Ons!
They are GORGEOUS no matter which collection you purchase.
Here are two luscious rub-ons I placed on this layout.
First is the word & definition of glorious.
A word that definitely describes Miss Gali!
The other is a ticket with some floral imprints.
These Rub-Ons go on so easily and really become part of the page,
as though they were meant to be there!
In this photo you will also see the Dusty Attic chipboard
that is heat embossed in Blue Fern Studios EP color Stormy Skies.
What I just LOVE about 49 and Market collections is that they not only have the paper, but they have laser cuts on size 12 x 12 sheets.
I chose to use the blue sequins!
They look amazingly realistic!
I've placed them throughout the layout.
Here is a close up of three strips I placed at the top of the layout,
along with the beautiful Dusty Attic chipboard.
For the title of this layout, I chose simply the word "Sweet",
which perfectly describes Miss Gali in every way
and is also what I say to her a lot!
I used Dusty Attic's Teeny Tiny ABCs and inked them
in a color named "Colonial Blue", which is a grayish blue.
heat embossed in BFS EP Stormy Skies,
serves as the foundation for a cluster of 49 and Market flowers.
The largest arrangement starts on top of the flourish chipboard
then extends up the side of the photo.
Tickets from the Ephemera Stacks are layered
below the photos for added interest.
Randomly throughout the layout are inked stencils of
Tim Holtz's Splatters colored with Colonial Blue ink.
Thanks so much for viewing my layout of the ever SWEET Miss Gali!
Have safe and happy days!
