Perfect Moment

Guess what?
Another Brianne layout!  This time a girly/grunge one!

As I've mentioned before, my daughter has been doing some modeling shoots in Houston and the photographers give her digital photos in exchange for the opportunity to use them for advertising.
She has become a bit popular lately so I'm a happy camper with all of these awesome photos of her!
Photography by Kiera Grant

Kept this one simple because the photo speaks volumes!

I chose Bo Bunny paper from my stash that has a chevron pattern.
I also didn't want to 'conform' to the usual horizontal chevron so I turned the paper to be a vertical chevron.  There are printed words in the background, but that doesn't bother me that they are also sideways.

The photo has a grunge feel about it so I accentuated the jet black of Brianne's leggings by
stenciling butterflies with a mixture of modeling paste & jet black mica powder.
I dabbed the same paste mixture all over the layout with a coarse sponge to create a grunge look.

Then I dabbed the same mixture with the coarse sponge on some chipboard corner pieces. Cool!

Bringing out the colors in the photo, I created a very simple flower cluster.
I added back stamen and fun fur for added texture.

Lastly, the chipboard title by The Dusty Attic was heat embossed in Blue Fern Studios Imagine Ink color Stormy Seas to add some sparkly to the page : )  Under the title I glued the throw-away pieces from the beautiful new die cut I just got - Spellbinders Fairmont Decorative Element that was used under the photo.

I so appreciate your wonderful visit and hope that you have a great weekend!  Lisa : )
