I certainly feel that my daughter Brianne is enchanting in this photo!
My feelings always dictate the papers and other embellishments used in my work.
I kept going back to the Kaisercraft Be-YOU-tiful flowered paper to use for this photo. It just felt so right!
I think I made the right decision. Doesn't her photo look gorgeous on this paper?

I chose a striped paper in the same Kaisercraft collection and placed it underneath the beautiful
Marrakesh Trellis chipboard by The Dusty Attic, which was first heat embossed in a pure white.

Brianne's beautiful photo was placed at an angle for interest and adhered with foam squares.
Then black rhinestones were added to the white chipboard.

Next I chose the really pretty Dusty Attic Morrocan Border that I cut to desired length.
I was so inspired with the outlined, lacy look of the white flower printed on the paper,
that I used a flower stencil and a Signo Uni-Ball white pen for tracing.
Awesome!
I was so amazed at how striking this white pen looked against a dark background
when I first saw it on a gorgeous layout created by my dear friend Carrie "Never Lose Your Shine".
I was (and still am) so WOWed with this layout! It's one of my faves that she's created.
I just can't keep up with all of the wonderful products out there,
but there is always another artist using something that catches my eye!
And boy did Carrie's layout really catch my eye!
Anyway, I had to STOP from stenciling because I was having so darn much fun! LOL!
(This is definitely a technique that you will see from me on future layouts!)

Prima's very stark white flower, with its pink micro glitter on the petals, couldn't have been more perfect!
Grouping it with some metal lacy flowers coordinates magnificently
with the feel of the outlined flowers on the paper.
These metal flowers were recolored with Tim Holtz Adirondack Pitch Black alcohol ink...NICE!
Doesn't the lacy metal flower and the white stenciled flower look great together?

Finally, the small, but glittery title fit beautifully around one of the metal lace flowers!

WOW Yes, I agree--enchanting! I really love the way you used the white pen and stencil to enhance--it caught my eye right away and I came here to see exactly what you did (from facebook!)
