Beautiful

Another layout of my daughter, Brianne, with such an appropriate title!

I've been rummaging through my stash and finding older collections to use.

The 2014 Bo Bunny Rose Café collection was just perfect for this gorgeous photo of Brianne!

The flesh tone of the paper with the dainty damask background & raisin/brown flower flourishes

in the corners really makes her beautiful photo pop!

I painted the large script chipboard title word "Beautiful" in a mixture of Espresso and Wine acrylics.

Then I dabbed on pigment ink color Raisin.

You may not be able to see it, but this pigment ink gave the look of suede and I LOVE it!!

The Rose Café collection also has a film strip that just speaks for itself!

A couple of simple flower arrangements and leafy flourish dies completed the femininity I was aiming for.

Part of the fun of using old stash is pulling out pretty bling flourishes.

I recolored this one using Tim Holtz Adirondack alcohol inks,

first Espresso; then topped with Raisin.

M is for Marvelous!!

Yes indeed, my daughter is definitely that....Marvelous!!

She's recently begun a portfolio of gorgeous photos taken by several professional model photographers who give you digital photos of the shoot in exchange for using them in their advertising. She's captured the attention of several more photographers, which is great for me because that means more scrapping! YAY!

This layout is now among my personal faves : )

The golden mustard with the perfect blue jean colored "M's" in this older (2014) Bo Bunny

"Somewhere in Time" collection really makes the photo pop!

There was a reason this paper sat in the drawer waiting to be found again!

After all, why in the world would I scrap something with a bunch of "M's" all over the it?

It was destined to be cut up and used as backing for a photo!

I'm so happy it worked out because M really is for Marvelous in this case!

The title is die cut with the new Sizzix Tim Holtz Alpha-numeric Script Dies!!

I'm so totally in LOVE with these!!

You can keep the letters separated like I did on the layout Lucy's Beloved String.
But this time I placed all of the letters together to form flowing script and they look fantastic!

Finding perfectly coordinating papers in another Bo Bunny collection, Rose Café, was quite the treasure!
It has the perfect blues, mustard & maroon colors that seem to have been made just for this main page.

Brianne has maroon coloring in her beautiful hair and the

"work in progress & in the healing process" three quarter arm tattoo takes on a maroonish tone in this photo.

What could be more ideal than dark maroon paper?!

The Rose Café collection with its tiled look on the "Bistro" page spoke volumes!

That's when I decided that this layout would be decorated with pretty die cuts!

Cute matching buttons & stamps in this collection really helped add that little extra.

Look how perfectly the golden mustard colors from these two collections match!

I loved this stamp sticker in the Rose Café collection!!

Placing blue paper under a fleur de Lis punch really makes it pop!!

Sometimes I love to use the same paper collection instead of customary green for leaf die cuts.

Don't they look wonderful with these small flower arrangements?

The pretty solid blue leaves really stand out against the multi-colored die cut pieces.

But the most wonderful thing that I'm so excited about

is when two handmade flowers, that my dear friend Carrie gave me a while back,
were a stunning fit with the blues in the paper!! WOW! How cool is that?!

And they look fabulous with leaves that are die cut in the tiled paper!
