Sympathy Card in Honor of Chloe

 God bless dear Chloe.

I made a card in her honor because she has passed over
 The Rainbow Bridge.
To my cousin (and Godfather) Butch and his darling wife, Paulette,
may you both find peace.

"Fly Away"
for the front of the card is placed on
DCWV's textured peach colored cardstock.

Wild Orchid Crafts flowers arranged on top of

Sympathy Card for the Primeaux Family

This is the most difficult sympathy card I've ever made.
Meaning that the emotions involved made it very difficult.

My personal physician of over 35 years
passed away unexpectedly and suddenly
of a torn artery.
I always 'worried' about when he would decide to retire,
because he loved to talk about his Grandchildren.

He was not only my physician, but my husband's too.
Joe and Doc (as Joe referred to him) were good friends
and hunted together many times.

Doc's house is just a block from mine on the same street.
We used to 'argue' over who had the most airplanes flying
over our house going to the airport. HA!

There are just no words to say how much I'm going to miss him.
He took such great care of me.

This year of 2020 is turning out to be such a very sad time...
in so many different ways.

I was hesitant to post this,
but decided that it wasn't about my card
but more about the death of a beloved physician
who will be greatly missed by not only myself but a whole community.
I can still hear his giggle.

Sympathy Card for Donna Anderson's Family

A very special, well-liked lady in the crafting community,
Donna Anderson,
has passed away after a recurrence of colon cancer.

Donna was very upbeat & positive.
She was very thoughtful of others and always generous
with time to make comments on everyone's creations.
She will be deeply missed by many.

I've made a Sympathy Card for her dear family,
especially for her devoted and loving wife, Kerry Gaines,
and for her two daughters,
Michelle Anderson & Ellen Marie Martinez.

The card is simple because I want the butterfly to be the focus.
For me, this butterfly represents Donna, who is now reborn.
I've used Blue Fern Studios beautiful Bird Waltz collection.

The Ephemera in this collection has a butterfly image on a circle piece.
This piece happened to fit perfectly in the Blue Fern Studio "Ornate Frame"!!
I had to cut off a little bit of the frame so it would fit on the 5" x 6-3/4" card.
I also die cut two different sized rings to go under the chipboard frame to help hide the piece of cardboard under the butterfly.
The frame is heat embossed in BFS color "Pink Dust".

The inside of the card is blank,
which will allow me to write a personal note to Donna's family.

Thanks for dropping by.
Please keep Donna & her family in your thoughts and prayers.
Lisa
