Paulette's 2026 Birthday Card

Now for the last February birthday.....
Paulette's birthday card is designed on a main 5" x 7" card
with layering strips of paper in her favorite color of purple.
I also used a nice green for contrast.

Some of the strips are simply straight cut,
while others are punched, torn or decorative scissor cut on the edges.

There are enough strips to cover the entire front of the card.

Here are a couple of close ups of the layered strips.

I printed a special birthday message in an oval shape,
which is then die cut and adhered flat to the card.
In the center is a gorgeous moth by ReneaBouquets!
I absolutely LOVE her moths and always wished that she
would've made more than just the two.
They are truly outstanding!

It's raised up by foam adhesive circles for dimension.

The inside has a rub-on to decorate the left side of the card.

Thanks for viewing Paulette's card.
Wishing her a very Happy Birthday!

A 5x5 CAS Thank You Card for Kevin

 Well, Kevin did it again!
He out did himself, like he did at Christmas.
He gave me several birthday gifts recently.
He seemed proud and happy to do that,
so he rightfully deserves a Thank You card.

The 5" x 5" size of this card was determined by the small scrap piece
of moth printed canvas that I've had for years.
This canvas material is glued onto orange cardstock.

Opposite corners are adorned with black rhinestones
& the other ones with black heat embossed metal filigree corner pieces.
A few tiny black rhinestones are placed randomly on the canvas piece.

Adhesive foam underneath lifts everything up for a little dimension.
I chose a beautiful dark teal cardstock for the main card.

Thanks for coming by to see Kevin's newest Thank You card!
As a disabled Veteran, his generosity is very humbling to me.

Have a great & blessed day!

Michelle's 2026 Birthday Card

My good friend Michelle loves purples & turquoise/aqua colors.
I decided to combine the two and W O W do they look fabulous together!

I started with a turquoise page for the main card,
which is sized 5" x 7",
then layered various strips to cover the entire front.
Some are straight cut; others are punched, torn or deco scissor cut.

Check out these layers from top to bottom!

With the gold color in the beautiful paper in the first strip at the top of the card,
I decided to use a similar color for the oval die cut,
as well as the enamel dots placed on the bottom strip.
This color really offers a beautiful contrast to the purples & aquas.

A special birthday message is printed; oval die cut; then adhered flat on the card.

In the center of the oval is a stunning ReneaBouquets butterfly.
It's among my top faves in her collection.

On the inside of the card on the left side
are aqua & purple rub-ons.
Aren't they so adorable?

Thanks for stopping by to view Michelle's card.
Wishing her a very Happy Birthday!

Have a blessed day,
