My dear friend, Rocky, is celebrating her birthday Sept 18th.
Her favorite flower is the Magnolia
and her favorite color is red.
The Louisiana state flower is the magnolia,
which happens to be a beautiful brillant white.
I decided to make the center full of red seeds
due to the flower being colored in virtually all white,
with only the curled up edges in a light cool gray.
This is another hand drawn effort, which took me many times to finalize it,
as drawing is extremely hard for me.
Two opposite corners are adorned with red rhinestones
and the background is a red mini pastel rubbed on with a makeup sponge wedge.
Bright red cardstock was used for the main card.
Lastly, the inside sentiment is corner punched
and tiny red rhinestones glued on each corner flower.
Thanks for viewing Rocky's birthday card!
Very big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Rocky.
Lisa
