Friendship Cards.....Because Friends Deserve Recognition

 I think often about the friends I have.
I'm really so very thankful for each one of them.
They brighten my life, each in their own way.
I love the diversity I have among my friends.
Each is unique; each brings interesting things to a conversation;
and each makes me smile and laugh inside & out.

I decided that it was time to send my friends a friendship card.
Unfortunately, I don't have the addresses of all of my friends;
some in America, Canada, Australia & New Zealand,
but they, too, are held in high esteem in my mind!

Here they are - plain; before I decorated them.

I went with black & white as the main colors.
I hand drew a dandelion fluff ball; then printed it on thick white cardstock.
I layered white on black on white.

I was inspired by a video I watched online,
which I believe may have been from Scrapbook.com.
They used a dandelion stencil and traced it.
I thought it was a really simple, but neat idea!

Each friend's card is different because I've placed a variety of
flat back pearls, rhinestones & enamel dots
on the dandelion fluff balls & at the bottom of the card
 in their favorite color(s)!

Here are the different colors I used.
I made a total of 10 cards, so the photos are in two's.

On the inside, each one has the definition of friendship printed on white cardstock; adhered to jet black cardstock and then glued to the card.
My very special BFF, Carmel, has the definition of best friend on her card.

Below the definition, in the blank space,
I hand wrote a special note to the person the card was made for.
Each card is unique for each unique friend!

Very quick, easy and CAS (Clean & Simple) cards!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a blessed day.
