I made a birthday card for my dear friend, Paulette's, Feb 15th birthday.
I chose the gorgeous 49 and Market Color Swatch Inkwell collection
because I think blues and lavender look so beautiful together
and this is what's provided by this collection!
Like the previous birthday cards I've made this year,
Paulette's card also has a "Happy Birthday" shaker
filled with beautiful Prills and surrounded by pretty bling.
A floral laser cut element from the collection
was perfect to go underneath the shaker.
Also, just above it and to the left
are the perfect words in another wonderful laser cut element!
This 6" x 8" card had a large white area that I filled with a floral arrangement.
I decided to make a pretty bead pin to go with the flowers.
Using a couple of the curled wire stems by 49 and Market
added to the whimsical feel.
I heat embossed them in Lavender EP.
My cards just wouldn't be the same without
something gorgeous from ReneaBouquets!
Check out these stunning butterflies!
On the backside of the card is a personal note printed in Bradley Hand ITC font.
Next to the sentiment are a couple of pretty rub-ons from the collection.
After receiving a birthday card myself from a sweet friend who used Stickles on it,
I pulled out mine and used them on Paulette's card!
I don't know about you, but sometimes I forget about the different
items, media, etc. that I have in my stash.
So I was really happy to 'sparkle up' this card!
I used Stickles on both the front & back of the card on
butterflies, flowers, grassy stems & these beautiful fussy cut moths.
The slightly larger one is from the same paper collection as the card
and the smaller one is a pretty lavender solid.
Fronts -
Hope you have a blessed day!
