Birthday Card 2022 for Diana

I made a birthday card for my very dear friend Diana.
She's a retired landscaper; loves being in the garden & outdoors;
and her favorite color is purple!
What better paper collection to choose for her card than the

I decorated the front of this 6x6 card with a homemade shaker, gorgeous dragonflies, flat back pearls, flowers and ribbon.

The shaker is made from layers of die cut chipboard, acetate,
foam adhesive & of course a sequin mix.

ReneaBouquets dragonflies are stunning and make this shaker totally awesome!

To hide the layers of the shaker, I used coordinating lime green and
deep eggplant-purple ribbons.
Then chartreuse moss & pretty flowers added below the shaker
help hide the ribbon knot.

I made a collage inside of the card using cut outs from the paper collection.

A personal sentiment is die cut and adhered to a darker solid paper
and a few sequin pieces from the shaker mix help decorate it.

Thanks for viewing and as always,
stay safe, healthy & happy!
