Welcome to my scrapbook blog for yet (of course) another Lucy layout >^..^<
There was a cool breeze on May 3rd and lots of flowers were in bloom.
I had the windows wide open.
Lucy was sitting on the window sill looking outside as I was snapping photos of her.
All of a sudden she closed her eyes and raised up her head and started literally sniffing the air!!
OMG! She is soooooooo CCCUUUTE!
I picked the gorgeous Blue Fern Studios page "Contemplation" from their Serendipity collection. It just really speaks of Springtime and Lucy looks fabulous on this page!
I used the Prima Ingvild Bolme distressing tool to really distress the heck out of the edges. Blue Fern Studios paper is by far the thickest in the business! Such ultra-high quality! All around the inside edge of the layout, I brushed on Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst color Bodacious Blush which is a FAVE color of mine. I also applied Distress Ink color Vintage Photo along the distressed edge.
I just received my order of Blue Fern Studios new collection Tranquility and also lots more of their chipboard and Imagine Inks embossing powders. Look how gorgeous the chipboard piece "Persian Ornament" is!!!! It was heat embossed with Aged Rose & Aged Ivory and then randomly coated with Distress Stickles color Tattered Rose. I divided it into two pieces -
As you can see, there are beautiful prills glued to sit pretty on this magnificent chipboard. Thanks to seeing these beauties on Rachelle Sigurdson's blog, I finally found out what they were called! I always imagined having little round balls in different sizes. You know those gorgeous stems that come with flowers you buy and they are full of little round balls and you wonder what they are??....well these fit the bill!
I also glued on some Rose color Fragments...look how pretty they are!!
Check out the stem pieces I made with prills color "Minnie Pearls"!
Thanks for visiting! and until next time........Have a great day - every day!! Lisa : )
