Marcy 2010

I created a fun layout of my sweet Grand Kitty, Marcy.  I took this photo in July 2010 as she lay in the Pink Garden ‘ignoring’ me (LOL).  I love Marcy’s ‘cattitude’!

I really wanted to decorate this page with the same vinca flowers that are in the photo so I went outside and photographed my current vinca!  I resized them on the computer; printed on photo paper; then fussy cut!  Some have foam dots under them for dimension.

I was really anxious to use some new Spellbinders dies that I just received in a scrap order. Here are some close ups of the gorgeous Romantic Vines embossing die cuts! I pieced more than one die together to create the look I wanted.

Coordinating paper in the same gorgeous Bo Bunny Madeleine collection was perfect for these other exciting new dies I just bought - Spellbinders Decorative Labels 46! Their intricate detailing and octagon shape really caught my eye when I first saw them! I dampened the die cuts of the flower petals and curved them upward, adding pink rhinestones for centers.
I LOVE these dies!
Here are a few different photo angles.

Thanks for visiting and have a good day!  Lisa : )

Your grandkitty is beautiful and they all have cattitude! Your page is just gorgeous and I know Marcy will love how you've made her the focal point of the lovely flowers - be sure to show her - and you might get a bit of attention! Love your page.
