Beauty in the eyes of the beholder

I've created a layout with one of my favorite photos from Pinterest that I saved over a year ago.  I love angels and this one really "captured me".  Despite its deteriorating state, I think this angel statue is really beautiful and very striking.

The Prima Timeless Memories paper had the exact ‘straw’ color, like the statue, with touches of light teal blue.  This became the main color palette.  I applied a crackle stamp to the paper using Vintage Photo distress ink.
The perfect teal (a blue-teal) colored cardstock was in my scrap stash.

The resin frame & feather were heat embossed with Lindy’s Stamp Gang color King Midas Gold.   Here is a close up of the frame:

Coordinating colored flowers, along with brown-rust moss and berry stems formed nice clusters.  The Dusty Attic ‘Foliage’ chipboard pieces inked in Vintage Photo and Recollections Autumn colored rhinestones added extra interest to the flower clusters.

Thanks so much for the visit!  Have a great day, Lisa : )
