Miss Belle's 2026 Birthday Card

My sweet friend, Miss Belle, is celebrating her 90th birthday this month!
She's a real sweetheart and I love her very much.
I'm her 'other daughter' and she's my 'other Mom'.
Since we live in different states, we keep in touch by phone
and always have very interesting conversations.
I really enjoy talking with her!

I recently found out that her most favorite color is blue,
or as she puts it, "ALL" blues.
She also loves white.

What better papers to make her 5" x 7" card with
than the beautiful blue, white & pink collection
Maja Design "Denim & Girls"!

As with all of my homemade birthday cards this year,
I've layered strips of paper, some straight cut and others
are either edge punched or deco scissor cut.

Here are the top strips:

On the bottom strip,
I adhered the title strip that's found
on the very bottom of one of the pages in the collection
that has the words "You are a Star".

I selected some really pretty blue glossy enamel dots as well.

A special birthday message is printed and then oval die cut,
which is then adhered flat to the card.
As I've said all along and will again on this card,
ReneaBouquets butterfly is a gorgeous centerpiece!

This one is a perfect match with the paper collection - W O W!

Lastly, the inside of the card is decorated with beautiful
49 and Market laser cut elements & rub-ons.

Thanks for viewing Miss Belle's birthday card.
I wish her the very best blessed birthday
and hopes of her having many more!

Have a blessed day everyone,
Lisa >^..^<

Mandala Peony

I chose to color another page from the blooming mandalas coloring book.
This time, though, I used a combination of Prismacolors & Polychromos.

As you can see,
I decided to showcase the peony
by brightly coloring the shapes that surround it.
The outside shapes, which are predominantly wavy & circular,
were colored in the light pink just like the peony.
These are the colors I used:

Here's some more photos.

Thanks for coming by
and have a blessed week!
