Shared moments together.....are the Best

Today I'm sharing a layout of my two sweet girls when they were bird watching from their breakfast table vantage spot in the kitchen. (hee hee) This photo was taken April 14th on their birthday...YES, they have the same birth date! :)   Miss Gali (the Mama) turned 7 and Lucy (Gali's daughter) turned 5. I've been telling my online scrapping friends that Lucy is tiny.  You can see the difference in head sizes very well in this photo!  LOL

I'm entering my layout in the Blue Fern Studios April 2016 Sketch Challenge.
It's a random draw challenge.  Click HERE to get the rules and join in!

I am so in love with Blue Fern Studios products.  All I can say is that they make me smile - enough said!
All papers and chipboard on my layout are Blue Fern Studios.
I used BFS Imagine Ink embossing powder color Oatmeal on the chippie pieces.

For the metal word "together", I heat embossed with BFS EP color Peacock...and it is GORGEOUS!  Check out how detailed and clear the BFS stamp is!  It is from the Shabby Edges set.  I used Distress Ink color Fired Brick.

All of the butterflies were fussy cut from BFS paper.
I added wire antennae to some of them and gave the one next to the word 'together' added dimension for its front wings. The large flower by Prima was perfect and so is one of the pretty BFS butterflies!

I die cut some ticket shapes and used foam tape to create a dimensional layer.
A little punching on another piece made for a cohesive look with the mesh chipboard.

A flag shape is in the BFS sketch, so I incorporated some into my design. I love how they look!

Until next time.....have a great day!  Lisa, Miss Gali & Lucy >^..^<

Scrappin' Gali

Today I'm sharing a soft layout with just a few touches of "bold"...perfect description of Miss Gali!
I absolutely love when she lounges in her special corner of my scrapping table.

I used the front and back sides of the beautiful Blue Fern Studios Blush Collection page "Celebration".  The dainty look of the Deco Tassel punch on the sides was perfect!  I placed a pastel yellow sheet behind my layout so you could see this punched design easier.

Navy and darker blue tones were my choice for a touch of bold color.
Blue Fern Studios embossing powder Imagine Ink color "Heavenly" is just that ~ heavenly...
with its gorgeous silver glittery sparkles! Quite stunning as you can see!
On the lovely BFS chipboard piece, I painted the leaves with gesso & Lindy's Stamp Gang "Bells of Ireland Green" mica powder from the Magicals Set "Prairie Wildflowers".
The bird is generously topped with Distress Stickles "Worn Lipstick".

I tend to forget that I have pearl and bling flourishes.
I cut this one to suit my needs to create a soft blooming flower stem.

The rest of the design was simply arranging different types of flowers, like a beautiful garden.

Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!

This Adorable Little Face

I'm back with another Lucy layout!  Her face is always so full of expression!
What really makes her even cuter is that she is tiny.  I can cup my hand around her entire head!
She is absolutely irresistible!

What better paper to use than some that's almost as irresistible as Lucy!
Blue Fern Studios Serendipity collection has got to be the most gorgeous papers I've ever seen.
I chose to use the blue page in the collection to bring out Lucy's gorgeous eyes - perfect match!

I recently bought Spellbinders dies Astoria Decorative and decided to use all three in the design. I love them!

Because this paper already has random edge printing of lace in navy blue, I decided to stamp with the darkest navy blue ink I have, which is one of most favorite ones called "Night Sky".  Check out the exquisite detailing in the Blue Fern Studios Arcadia Textures stamps!!  WOW! They are absolutely unreal!

Because the Night Sky navy ink color looks so fantastic in the stamps, I decided to use it to ink chipboard letters for part of the title; then applied Ranger Crackle Accents; and when completely dry, rubbed with Gold wax to bring out the crackle.  I also edge inked the die cuts, as well as all around the edge of the entire layout.

I decorated the page with Petaloo cream colored hydrangeas...

and butterflies, changing their white pearl bodies to dark brown.

I painted and edge inked the Blue Fern Studios Organic Vine chipboard; then divided it for my design.
I've got to get this one again so I'll have it for future layouts!

Thanks for stopping by!  More of Lucy to come in future layouts....no doubt! >^..^<
Have a great week!  Lisa : )
