Lorna's 2023 Birthday Card

The 49 and Market ARToptions Plum Grove collection
has helped me create a beautiful slimline card and envelope
 for my dear friend Lorna!

The colors of this collection are just gorgeous!
Plums, pinks, oranges, greens....

I love making a coordinating envelope using the same paper collection.

I was able to score the center of the card perfectly
so that the butterfly was on the front. 👏
Look at this gorgeous paper when the card is opened fully!

I'm so proud of myself for figuring out something
and want to share it with you.

In the Ephemera Bits of this collection, there are several small cards & tags
that measure 3" long x 1-1/2" wide.
I REALLY wanted to have "Happy Birthday!" printed on the one I chose,
but I didn't want to have to print the words on a separate piece of paper;
then cut out and glue them onto the little card.

SO I used Scor-Tape and adhered the small card to
another piece of scrap cardstock from the collection.
After a test run to insure the size and placement of the words
would print in the right spot on the little card,
I went for it and let it go through my printer.
VOILA!!!!

I'm thrilled how this worked so easily!
I've never seen this done or perhaps no one I know ever shared how to do this,
but either way, I figured it out and I hope you can give it a try yourself!

As you can see, I decorated the little card with a Momenta metal piece
and tiny adhesive rhinestones in Amber color.
Foam adhesive tape under the small card raised it up for some dimension.

The "Debutante" butterfly made by ReneaBouquets is one of my top favorites!
Look how beautiful it is and the colors are incredibly perfect for this collection!!
The details in Renea's products are impeccable!

A small floral arrangement in coordinating colors is all this card needed
to ramp up the beautiful printed images!

Here's the card fully opened to expose the inside.
The sentiment is French Script font in a plum-ish color.

On the left side I layered several of the laser cut wildflowers
and also added a couple of rub-on butterflies.

At the bottom of the right side I used an ephemera frame & laser cut wildflowers (and butterfly), also decorating it with the amber colored rhinestones
like I did to the front of the card.

Thanks so much for visiting!
Have a wonderful, blessed day,
Lisa
