Just Us Two

I'm so very proud to share with you my beautiful Birman girls,
Lucy & her MaMa Miss Gali.
Photo of my beautiful girls taken 6/20/18

I chose 49 and Market's Sweet Reflections "Observation" page.

First, I splattered white gesso.
Lindy's Stamp Gang magical mica powders in Blue Hawaiian Blue & Salt Water Taffy
were also mixed with gesso to create blue & pink splatters.
LSG Starburst spray color Bachelor Button Blue created nice darker blue contrasting splatters.

Some leftover scraps in Blue Fern Studios papers matched well with the colors of my layout,
so I distressed a couple of pieces to go under the photo.

Spellbinders Regal Frame is glued on top of the photo for a unique look.

The title is computer printed in Exmouth font
and is die cut from the Spellbinders Regal Frame set.
This die can be placed 'up or down' depending on the look you desire.

After layering the photo & distressed papers with cardboard in between,
they were adhered to the page, then
The Dusty Attic chipboard Mystic Flourish was placed.

I used one flourish and divided it into two pieces.
These were heat embossed with Blue Fern Studios EP color Starry Night.
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this color because it matches both of my cats' eyes!

I created flower arrangements to go with the flourish pieces and adorn both sides of the photo.

Here are some close ups.

The top of the layout was bland, so I added corner pieces using the same Regal Frame die set.

Also a floral arrangement is placed at the top-center of the layout.

A few pearls in light pink & white were randomly added to the page as a finishing touch.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great week, Lisa : )

Friends Tag - for Mary

I made a simple tag to include with some goodies to a sweet friend.
No matter how small, a crafty friend always enjoys receiving 'Happy Mail'!

I made a 4" x 5" chipboard tag using Tim Holtz Vintage Cabinet Card die.
The front & back are covered in 49 and Market's new Sweet Reflections page "Singing the Blues."
This paper collection is truly divine so I kept embellishments to a minimum.

I chose 49 and Market's flowers - Vintage Shades "Sage Cluster".

Adding Wild Orchid Crafts yellow sweetheart blossoms and a metal 'friends' word completed the tag.

Thanks for dropping by!
