5-24-25 Mandala

I decided to color a mandala in 'fiesta' colors!

I chose Color Cube Card #030 as my inspiration.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog.
Hope you have a blessed weekend
and Memorial Day, May 26th.
Never forget the sacrifices our USA armed forces make
to insure that we can continue to be free and enjoy life.

5-20-25 Mandala

Lately, I've been in the mood to color mandalas, so I chose another one
that I completed in 2 days; spending the majority of my day today finishing it.

I took inspiration from the Color Cube Card #380 color palette:

Thanks for viewing my coloring!
Have a blessed week,
Lisa

5-17-25 Mandala

I really enjoy coloring 'standard' mandalas,
meaning the ones that repeat patterns in a circle.

Today I chose this one.

What I love about mandalas is that it's always best to pick a handful or so of colors that go well together and only use those; never deviating from them.
It really makes pretty mandalas that way.

I picked 7 colors using my Polychromos Pencils.

Thanks so much for dropping in!
Have a blessed day,
Lisa

Psalm 46:10 Be Still and know that I am God

I have to say that I truly enjoyed coloring this page!
Thanks to my wonderful friend, Paulette & her husband, Butch,
who is my 1st cousin and Godfather,
for the wonderful 60th birthday gift of this divine coloring book -
 The Psalms in Color.

I spent quite a number of days coloring this vibrant page,
meticulously taking my time to stay inside the ultra-thin lines.
It took a lot of sharpening of my pencils to accomplish this.
Admittedly, I did make a few out-of-line mistakes that the eraser just couldn't fix.
Taking frequent breaks saved my eyes!

You can REALLY see the ultra-thin lines that outline these words!
This is how sharp I had to make my pencils
at times to get inside those ultra-thin lines!

I chose to use six colors repeatedly throughout.
Five Prismacolor Premier pencils and 1 Polychromos.

Thanks for visiting!
Have a very blessed day,
Lisa
