Patchwork Baby Elephant

 The paper of this coloring book isn't 'user friendly'.

It doesn't accept the colors very well, leaving them streaky.

Oh well.

This coloring was done off & on 

in the same manner that you would doodle on a page.

I almost gave up, but trudged forward instead.

It's really a cute little elephant.

I colored it in denim blue, pink, purple & chartreuse.

The background is quick back & forth markings using these same colors.

A "Just Because" Card

 I pulled out my left-over stash of

 Mintay's "Birdsong" collection.

I dressed it up as a "Just Because" card

for a dear, sweet friend of mine.

A few embellisments and it's all done!

Always remember if you don't plan to donate or give away your paper stash,

hold on to it to make cards/tags/etc. for future use.
