Animals in Flowers - Spirits of the Woodland - Red Fox #1

I just LOVE the graphics in these Animals in Flowers coloring books.
However, I don't like the paper that they are printed on.
They're printed when ordered from Amazon.
The paper may not have "tooth" as they call it.
It leaves my coloring streaky.
So, I just do my best!

On the opposite page are these words:

The beauty of life lies in its intricate,
woven mysteries.

Here's a close up.
See all the streaks!
Even blending didn't help.
Oh well...
This little fox is still cute!

Thanks for stopping by and have a very blessed day!

Rocky's 2024 Birthday Card

I made a birthday card for a really great friend of mine, Rocky.
She & I worked together and
grew closer in friendship through the years.
I've known her for at least 25 years, probably closer to 30 years.
She's very dear to me.

I really LOVE this paper collection!!
Rocky loves bling, so this year I heat embossed
The Dusty Attic's Star Banner chipboard in "14 Karat" Gold.

Not only did I use gold to emboss the stars,
but I also mixed in gold stars with the black sequins inside the shaker!

Going around the front of the card,
starting with the left corner,
I adhered beautiful off-white Chrysanthemums that resemble
the daisies that are printed on the paper.
Also, I used elements from this paper collection to enhance this corner....
like the 'Awesome Day' laser cut ticket and the chipboard moth.

The right corner has the prettiest printed birds
and the perfect spot to put the laser cut element "Friends Forever".

Now for the backside of the card.

I always love the washi tape stamps!
The butterfly is chipboard.

In the left corner is a pretty laser cut floral piece.

In the right corner, I layered two rub-ons.

Lastly, my box-in-box envelope holds the card in place.

Thanks for viewing Rocky's card!
Have a great week,
Lisa
