Gali 5-17-2022

I have room on my Gali & Lucy wall in my scrapbook room for two more pages
so I decided to make duplicate layouts of my sweet girls,
who are so deserving of dainty pink pages.

A mix of mostly pinks, pastel yellows, white & greens
made their layouts "all GIRL".

This is Lucy's page made nearly identical with Gali's.
Click here to go to Lucy's blog post.

I chose 49 and Market's Color Swatch Blossom collection
because of its beautiful pink hues.

The photo is placed with a foam sheet to raise it up.
The background paper is a soft green and is
die cut with a beautiful rectangle die.

Mixing a pinch of Lindy's Gang Magical mica color "Salt Water Taffy"
with flexible modeling paste resulted in
a subtle, yet beautiful soft pink pastel!

Random areas were then stenciled with this mixture using
Prima Finnabair "Vintage Wallpaper" stencil.

On the top half of the layout, I've glued tiny ceramic white flowers with pink centers in a few random spots. I'll be sad when I run out of these little beauties.
I still have around 110 left.
You will see them in a few of the photos.

For the top left corner of the page,
I cut The Dusty Attic Mini Trim in half to form a corner piece.
It's colored with "Bamboo Leaves" dye ink.
Flowers & basil colored reindeer moss were added,
along with the gorgeously detailed ReneaBouquets pink butterfly.

The title "Gali 5-17-2022" is computer printed using English Script font,
which was then adhered with foam tape to raise it up off the page.

Below the photo is a Dusty Attic lacy chipboard piece
that is heat embossed in Blue Fern Studios color "Pink Dust".
Added to this piece are three tiny 2-tone pink open roses.

On the very top right corner of the photo
are beautiful chipboard hearts by Dusty Attic.
These are heat embossed in BFS color "Pink Dust".

Flanking each side of the photo are floral arrangements made with 49 and Market flowers & acetate leaves; Wild Orchid Craft flowers; reindeer moss; leafy die cuts; handmade pink bead stems; and ReneaBouquets beautiful pink butterflies.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Wishing you all many blessed days ahead.
