8-17-25 Amazing Mandala Pattern

 I'm having a wonderful time coloring mandala patterns!

Not only do you get to color a mandala, which is very enjoyable,

but you also get to color "repeats" of the main mandala 

in a smaller size throughout the page!

Such a cool idea!

I used Color Cube Card #185 as my starting inspiration,

removing the red and then adding blue, orange & green.

At first, I was afraid I had ruined this coloring by making this choice,

but the more I colored, the more I really loved it!

So, this somewhat odd combination of colors has turned out pretty, in my opinion.

Mandala Style Yorkie

Here's another mandala style animal.

A very colorful, precious Yorkie!!

As I was coloring this cutie, 

little Harley Rose would pop in my head and make me smile!

Harley Rose is the most precious & sweetest little Yorkie

that my great friend, Kay, has.

I'm "Aunt Lisa" to her - LOL!

I tried to use the same colors in alike designs 

throughout the long flowing hair.

With all of the many patterns, 

I found it too hard to stick with just 5 or 6 color combinations.

So, these are all of the colors I used.

Mandala Style Cat

 I've been enjoying coloring mandalas lately

and discovered some interesting coloring books by the same artist.

I really love her style, so this new coloring book has mandala style animals!

Here is my mandala style cat.

My most favorite color is purple, 

so I chose to use quite a number of different colors 

in the purple color family.

Coordinating navy blue, green, orange, yellow-orange & chartreuse

I think really added to this coloring.

I finished another mandala in nearly record time! LOL! 

I love the colors in this one. 

I used both Prismacolor Premier & Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils.
