11-27-25 Mandala

 Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I completed this 5-color Fall mandala just in time for today.

It's a sunny, beautiful, cool day in Lake Charles, Louisiana!
Finally gotten away from those hot 80 degree temps!
The back door is open;
listening to the beautiful, calming wind chimes,
that my dear friend Diana gifted me "just because".

I LOVE listening to them!

I RANDOMLY (eyes completely shut) drew from Color Cube box #1
and came up with colors for a mandala.
Here are the colors for card #132.

Have a very Blessed & Happy Thanksgiving!
Lisa

Fran's 2025 Birthday Card

I'm so delighted that I've completed all of the hand drawn
birthday cards for my friends this year!
It was quite daunting for me,
as I'm not a drawing artist,
but challenged myself anyway using internet images for guidance.

Fran's most favorite flower is the hibiscus.
She said that the hibiscus is the national flower of
Trinidad and Tobago where she is from!

Although her favorite color is red,
she also loves pinks and greens together.
After my first coloring attempt in red,
I opted to go with rosy pink instead.

These are the colors I chose to use for this card.

The flower name is printed in Lucida Handwriting font
and is placed with foam adhesive for a raised dimension.
Just below the name are pretty glitter enamel dots in a rose color.

The upper left corner of the card is decorated with
glossy enamel dots in a lovely green.

The inside sentiment is printed on
a linen textured light green cardstock
 in Lucida Handwriting font
and the corners are punched.

Thanks for viewing Fran's card.
Hope you all have a very blessed day,
Lisa >^..^<

11-23-25 Mandala

Here is a 5-color mandala I finished rather quickly.
First time using gray and I really like how well it went with all of the other colors.

These are the 5 colors I used for this mandala.

Thanks for visiting!
Have a wonderful upcoming week and a
blessed Thanksgiving.

Cherish Those Who Lift You Up

When I saw this wonderful saying, I just knew I had to do something with it!
It is what I do every day in my life.
The image inside the frame came across my FaceBook feed.
It resonated so much for me and I absolutely loved it!
Even more so because of the cats!!

I had this 5" x 5" square white frame stored with other frames in a box.
I dresssed it up with some pretties!
This little beauty now sits on a shelf in my craftroom,
serving as a reminder to myself,
along side the other reminders I have on the same shelf:

Thanks for stopping by and have a very blessed day!
